Is it true you have to ride 150 miles weekly?

I have been having problems with my Sportster and was wondering if it's true what my dealer is saying that I gotta ride at least 150 miles every week to take care of the battery? Of course I have to keep it home on rainy days and when I go on vacation with my family. I don't get why after a week of being just in the garage, the battery dies. I have to recharge a couple times. My goodness.

Thoughts on this?

Hahaha. Batteries need some love and attention, sometimes for sure needier than my dog. If you can't ride often, grab a smart trickle charger. That's going to help keep the juice up. So, lemme break it down that it won't be as if it's riding 150 miles weekly. But yeah, your battery is just gonna be happy and healthy :)

Yeah, that dealer is half right but also kinda lazy with the advice lol, you don't need to ride 150 miles every week, that's just overkill, the battery just needs a steady charge coz not riding often, it'll drain down over time.
