Running a '06 and finally got around to upgrading the rear suspension with a 10.5" setup to drop it a bit and give it a leaner stance because I've always liked it that way on other riders' bikes. The stock shocks were just way too stiff and unforgiving on longer rides and it felt like I was getting punched by the road every mile. The 10.5 definitely ride lower, but honestly, it's a way smoother feel overall and I'm still setting in the preload, but so far it's looking good and riding better. Anyone else running short shocks on their sporty?
