I'm getting serious about buying a vintage Harley, and a 1972 Sportster XLCH is really catching my eye. Is still possible to find one with all its original parts? Or realistically what parts are generally acceptable to have been replaced by now for this bike to still be considered in good original condition? I just don't know where and how to look effectively so I'd appreciate getting some advice!

That thing looks classy AF. Considering the age I doubt you'll find one with all oem parts, but if you manage to find one from somenone that looked after it, you might be able to get one that's in the shape you need. How much are you willing to pay for it?

That is almost impossible to find! things like tires, brake shoes, points and cables are normally refreshed, but a frame and engine case with matching VINs still count as good original. What price range are you aiming for? You can check any local vintage dealers or online auctions
